Jennifer Lopez Dating 24-Year-Old Backup Dancer

It would seem that Bradley Cooper is already out of the picture. Just as people were starting to become accustomed to the idea that Jennifer Lopez was dating Cooper, a new report has her linked to a 24-year-old backup dancer.

His name is Casper Smart and he's been doing a lot of work as a backup dancer, both on the party scene and in front of the camera.

Just recently, he embarked on a fling with the hottest single woman of the moment, 42-year-old Jennifer Lopez, People magazine reports, citing unnamed sources.

The two tried for a short while to keep the romance under wraps but were a bit less discreet just recently, which would explain how come this got out in the media.

“A few months after she and husband Marc Anthony announced they were splitting, the American Idol judge appears to be logging time with a new man: Los Angeles-based dancer Casper Smart,” People writes.

“Yes, they are dating and having a good time. They’ve been getting more open with their flirting for weeks,” says an unnamed source who claims to be well in the know.

Another tipster says the romance is just “a fun fling” and will probably not evolve beyond that. “It’s not meant to turn into anything more,” the second insider reveals.

Smart's resume includes appearances on “Step Up 3D” on the big screen, and on TV on “How I Met Your Mother” and “Glee.”

He's also worked with JLo at least a couple of times, the more recent being over the weekend, when he posted on his Facebook page, “In Palo Alto Bout to do a show w/ Jennifer Lopez for some1s birthday.”

People tried to contact Lopez's publicist for a comment on the story, but got none in return.

Seeing how she said a while back that she wouldn't be revealing anything to the press pertaining to her love life until it got “serious,” chances are there will be nothing about the Smart fling on the official channels.
