14 DAY TRIAL // Jennifer Lopez may have been the one to put an end to the marriage to Marc Anthony, but that’s not to say she’s not suffering too. During a recent concert, JLo got so emotional she actually ran off stage sobbing, says a new report.
Word in the blogosphere has it Jennifer is currently dating Bradley Cooper, which seems to suggest she’s already moved on from Marc, who continues to pine for the mother of his children, as per reports.
Even if she’s really with Cooper, it would seem that Jennifer is still in a lot of pain from the divorce, judging from her recent gig, Radar Online reports.
“Jennifer Lopez let her emotions and her tears flow while singing about love Saturday night. During her headlining performance at the Mohegan Sun Arena’s 15th anniversary celebration, she broke down in tears and ran offstage sobbing,” the e-zine says.
Jennifer performed her hit “If You Had My Love,” the acoustic version and she seemed to be handling it very well.
She told audiences it was “the first song I wrote about love” and then wondered out loud, “what is love?,” before saying she was a changed woman.
“As she sang, pairs of dancers appeared in spotlights around her. One couple had a P. Diddy look-alike with the female dancer wearing a copy of her infamous slit-down-to-the navel Versace gown,” Radar writes.
Another pair bore a close resemblance to Cris Judd and the casual look she sported back then, while a third pair of dancers recreated her and Marc’s sassy dance on the American Idol finale, shortly before the divorce announcement.
There was also a couple of dancers doubling as Bennifer, as the media dubbed the Lopez – Ben Affleck couple.
One fan in the audience tells Radar it was clear that Jennifer was in a lot of pain and too overwhelmed by emotion to continue with her performance.
“At the end of the song she started sobbing and had to take a few moments to keep it together. She held it together for one song but then ran offstage crying,” says the eyewitness.
“She only sang a few more songs and she was obviously out of it. Everyone was so sad for her. It was really dramatic,” adds the same source.
