Jennifer Lawrence is considered one of the most refreshing, real celebrities of the moment – and a talented one to boot. These things considered, it probably doesn’t come as a real shock that she’d play a prank on the paparazzi. Attached to this article is a photo of the young actress, who is now doing the awards show circuit for her role in “Silver Linings Playbook,” sucking her thumb while carrying around a teddy bear.
E! News notes that this pic, along with many others, was snapped in London, where Jennifer attended the BAFTAs 2013 over the weekend, while the music industry celebrated at the Grammys in Los Angeles.
“The Silver Linings Playbook star was spotted strutting through London's Heathrow Airport on Monday toting quite the adorable carry-on while giving shutterbugs a rather interesting image to snap,” the celebrity publication writes.
“The 22-year-old star sucked her thumb while carrying a teddy bear, flashing a sly grin as she headed on her way,” adds the same media outlet.
A female companion by her side was also grinning, which further hints that Jennifer was, indeed, joking with the paparazzi.
Her colorful track record of interviews could also serve as evidence of her sense of humor.
“Of course, given Lawrence's penchant for randy off-the-cuff humor (wonky [breasts]!) and refreshingly unfiltered candor (wardrobe-malfunction alert!), we wouldn't be surprised if the star was having a wee bit too much fun playing around with the paps,” E! says.
As for the BAFTAs, Jennifer didn’t get to leave for home clutching the award for Best Actress, as Emmanuelle Riva of “Amour” beat her to the punch.
Nevertheless, Lawrence still has
the Oscars to look forward to: the ceremony takes place on February 24 and sees her up for Best Actress, opposite Riva, Naomi Watts, Jessica Chastain and Quvenzhané Wallis.
