By now it's likely that you too have seen the leaked photos in which Jennifer Lawrence appears in some very private poses. It's these photos that are causing a virtual storm on the Internet these days, that's about to take one new directions in the legal war against hacking.

Soon after the photos hit the web, Jennifer's legal representatives revealed that the photos were indeed real and that they planned swift legal action against anyone who published them in hopes of monetary gain. However, this didn't stop the photos from spreading like wildfire.

The blaming finger is now being pointed at Apple and a security flaw in their iCloud system, which would allow a third party to access private photos from your account. While this matter is now under investigation, people are eager to hear an official position from the exposed actress.

Lawrence has been silent so far, but an unofficial report from persons close to her reveals that she is “horrified” that her private pictures have leaked on the internet, showing her in various states of undress.

“Jen is horrified over this leak and knows that this will possibly effect her upcoming roles,” said one such source to Radar and added that “She knows that A-list stars don’t have this type of controversy attached to them and is very much horrified over the whole situation.”

It's unlikely that Jennifer's reputation will have to suffer after this leaked photo scandal, but she might lose some of her fans who previously thought that she was this angelic figure in Hollywood. If anything, the photos prove that Jennifer is a normal person, with normal needs.

Fans quickly reacted to the leak and surprisingly, many defended the actress, despite the fact that the hacker threatened to leak new material, including explicit videos of Lawrence. Most of the fans sided with the “Hunger Games” actress and blasted the leak as an invasion of privacy.

Some of the other victims of the leak weren't as lucky. In general, anyone who claimed that the photos were fake was blasted by fans for lying and lost all support from the public. In this category are Ariana Grande, Victoria Justice, and gymnast McKayla Maroney.

Each of them was treated to, apart from the public humiliation of having their intimate photos plastered all over the Internet, a public lashing on social media, which basically called them out for lying and trying to cover up the scandal.

The list of celebrities involved in the scandal is about 100 names long, and the only reason they haven't all hit the web is that the alleged hacker is trying to make some money off this scandal, but so far people have been reluctant to pay for the material.

The latest reports indicate that the FBI has now gotten involved in the case and is searching for the identity of the hacker who has maintained his innocence throughout this scandal, claiming that he never hacked anyone's account, he merely collected the photos from other people.
