14 DAY TRIAL // At the moment, this is but a rumor, but one that's very persistent and confirmed by many sources close to the new couple, pointing into the general direction that Jennifer Lawrence, Oscar-winning actress and Hollywood sweetheart, has begun dating Chris Martin, the frontman for Coldplay.
Both the actress and the singer are on the rebound and seemed to have found some solace in each other's company. For Jennifer Lawrence, it was a second breakup from actor Nicholas Hoult, who has since said to have gotten involved with Kristen Stewart, the “Twilight” actress.
The reason that was given at the time was “conflicting schedules,” and despite initial rumors that Hoult left the relationship because he had got fed up with Lawrence's “exploded ego,” it was later revealed that the split had been, in fact, “very amicable,” according to E! News, and that they both realized their careers were getting in the way of their relationship.
For Chris Martin it was even more painful, as actress Gwyneth Paltrow decided to divorce him after ten years, making the by now famous “conscious uncoupling ” announcement on her Goop website. What is strange in Martin's case is that he hasn't really separated himself fully from his former wife, because of the fact that they share custody of their 2 children.
Jennifer Lawrence is proving she's got a thing for British men, as Hoult, her previous boyfriend, also hailed from England. She is quoted as saying “British men have these wonderful manners, and everything they say is funnier just because of the accent.”
She goes on to reveal that “There’s this cute ‘I’m trying to be adorable because I know you’re mad at me’ accent, and then the drunk accent where all the consonants have vanished,” pointing out to the things she finds attractive in British men.
As of now, the relationship between Lawrence and Martin remains unofficial, but reports are saying that the two of them have been “quietly dating” since June, making it a little bit more than just a summer fling.
The 24-year-old actress and the 37-year-old singer have yet to make their first public appearance, but knowing Jennifer's obsession with keeping her life private and Martin's need to stay out of the press, it's safe to assume that they are keeping a very low profile these days.
Last week, Jennifer Lawrence was photographed on a New York airport, while Martin is reported as spending the summer in the Hamptons with his children and, ironically, his ex-wife, who has rented a home just across the street from the musician.
