Singer and Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Hudson has always been a curvy girl and she’s not about to change anytime soon. However, as of late, the star has become the spokesperson for Weight Watchers, in a bid to change her lifestyle and improve her mood, while also getting some help with shedding the pregnancy weight. The program is not the only ace up her sleeve, though, How Celebrities Lose Weight writes.

As all women must know, no diet pays off without getting enough exercise – at least, not a healthy one, one that would not lead to yo-yoing weight. Jennifer is well aware of that too, therefore, since she started on the program, she’s also started working out more. Exercise doesn’t even have to feel like exercise, she believes, which is why, besides the “traditional” routine, she also keeps active by walking up to an hour every day, no matter what.

“Miss Hudson has been putting on the hours on her fitness exercise program to get herself a [hot] post baby body. She says she does cardio exercises by walking anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour every night. She also does jogging exercises, running every morning for an hour with her personal fitness trainer. Her fitness exercise program also consists of doing resistance fitness training exercises. Resistance fitness training is using your own body weight to build and tone muscles,” HCLW writes.

“Hudson completes one hour of resistance fitness training by doing four sets of 25 reps of the following exercises: push ups, leg squats, and sit ups. Aside from these, Jennifer also plays basketball as her other form of cardio exercise. Jennifer says she is choosing to go on a healthy weight loss by living a healthier lifestyle so she can be a good example for her 7-month old son, David Jr. ‘I want to be a good role model to my son. That’s why I’m not going to go on anymore fast diet weight loss programs. I’m sticking to what I’m doing now: a healthy weight loss diet plan and a good fitness exercise program’,” the same fitness-oriented e-zine further says.

As we also informed you a while back, when making the announcement that she was the latest celebrity spokesperson for Weight Watchers, Jennifer stressed that her “journey” to a slimmer self would not be all about shedding the extra pounds. The program is more than just a diet, it’s a lifestyle choice that focuses on health first and foremost, and only after that on losing weight. Speaking of, so far, Jennifer has been doing a wonderful job, already being notably slimmer.
