Jennifer Hudson Is Done Losing Weight

Star has dropped 80 pounds (36.2 kg), says the time is right to stop

Jennifer Hudson is calling it a day on her weight loss program. Ever since she’s been on Weight Watchers, the singer and actress has dropped a whopping 80 pounds (36.2 kg) but she’s now saying she’s not interested in losing more weight.

One might assume, though, that she’ll stick with the program in order to maintain her current figure.

Speaking with Redbook magazine (quotes via Us Weekly), Hudson says she’s finally gotten to her ideal weight, one she would have never imagined she’d be.

Come to think of it, 80 pounds (36.2 kg) is a pretty impressive figure.

“I’m at the weight I want to be. But I hear all the time, ‘Don’t lose any more weight, you need to stop.’ People are under the impression that I’m still losing but I’m not,” Jennifer says in the interview.

Even though she’s been her on current weight for some time, Jennifer says she still has a hard time believing she was once so heavy.

“I’m getting used to my new self more than anything else. I got used to being plus-sized and knowing how to be that, whereas this is like, ‘Okay, who am I?’ I keep thinking that I probably need an extra-large or a large and the stylist is like, ‘No, you need a medium or a small’,” she says with a smile.

With the holiday season practically around the corner, Jennifer is already on her guard, she reveals for the publication.

One thing that she simply can’t resist is banana pudding, which she knows is no good for her figure. Because she knows she could never abstain from eating it, she’s instructed her friends not to bring any when they drop by this holiday season.

“It’s the devil!” Jennifer jokes. “So no one is allowed to bring it into my house. Because I can’t control myself. So why put it in my domain?”
