The former lover of actress Jennifer Aniston has canceled the eBay auction of her love letter and notes, after Aniston asked him not to sell them.
"I have voluntarily canceled the eBay auction upon receiving word from one of Jennifer's representatives that she didn't want me conducting the auction," Baroni said in a statement to The Associated Press on Friday. "I have nothing but fond memories of Jennifer as a friend and only wish her well."
The man, who's calling himself Michael Baroni, said he had a crush on Jennifer while she was attending New York's High School of Performing Arts in the summer of 1984 and they had a fling. They remained friends until 1991, when Jennifer Aniston's career began to take off.
Baroni wanted to auction off Aniston's toilet-paper musings, a birthday card, a love letter, photos and trinkets, but it appears that Jennifer was vehemently opposed to.
He has previously said: "She was very fun and lively, a loving kind of person. I think the materials show an innocent look into someone I think is very endearing."
