14 DAY TRIAL // Jennifer Aniston’s marriage to Brad Pitt came apart right after he did “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” with Angelina Jolie, with countless reports saying that he had cheated on Jen with Angie. That was in 2005 but, even if so much time has passed, Jennifer is still sore about it.
In fact, she’s so sore about it that she freaks out the instant she sees any scene from the aforementioned film, particularly if it’s one more sensual in nature, The National Enquirer writes in its latest print issue (story via CB).
According to the tab, this is exactly what happened just recently, when Jennifer was visiting friends for a tour of their new Hollywood Hills home, and they walked into the screening room to the sight of Pitt and Jolie making out on the screen.
“Jen suddenly gasped,” the report says, adding that, in the blink of an eye, she was already out of the room, visibly perturbed.
“The couple’s teenage kids had been watching the film with friends, and were totally oblivious to Jennifer’s shocked look. Their parents immediately grabbed the remote and turned the movie off – but not before Jen was out the door,” an insider is quoted as saying.
“The couple caught up with her, apologizing profusely and Jen later admitted to a close pal that seeing Brad and Angelina in that film still hits a raw nerve. But not wanting to make her pals feel uncomfortable, Jennifer brushed it off as no big deal – and insisted on continuing their tour!” the spy continues.
Of course, this is the Enquirer we’re talking about, so you should probably expect at least part if not the entire story to be fiction. After all, Jennifer too has moved on from the failed marriage, and is now engaged to be married to Justin Theroux.
However, if she were really still that sore about the alleged Pitt-Jolie affair after almost 10 years, it must make Justin pretty uncomfortable, wouldn’t you say?
