Jennifer Aniston - Right There for Owen Wilson

Owen Wilson is definitely not the world's happiest camper – but the troubled actor finally seems to have returned to better spirits and his work. But instead of going the traditional rehab route, Owen Wilson seems to fancy making his own choices and not signing up to any of the usual treatments. And so, after his failed suicide attempt about six weeks ago Owen hired a sober companion to stay with him and make sure he fights the temptation to drink and do drugs. He is also said to do some traveling to Arizona, undergo hypnosis and attend group therapy for addiction.

And it looks like apart from his family, Wilson has a fervent supporter in his attempts to take up yoga and meditation, also as part of the healing process. Jennifer Aniston, who is a big fan of yoga practice, has many times referred to how yoga helped her get over the difficult times following her broken marriage with Brad Pitt. Jennifer and Owen will be working together on the upcoming film "Marley and Me", and they already appear to share a special connection.

It is said that Jen sent Owen some books and encouraged him to pursue meditation and yoga as part of his path to healing. It’s possible she influenced him to take the trip to Arizona and to embrace holistic practices as part of his recovery. The two actors have reportedly been in close contact (that is, they have been speaking regularly by telephone and e-mail) ever since Owen's failed suicide attempt at the end of August. Jennifer apparently sent Wilson some books, among which "The Power of Now" (said to be her favorite) and, according to a source, has been "encouraging Owen to practice breathing techniques, yoga and meditation. Owen has come to rely on Jen’s phone calls. They’ve connected because both are wounded souls", the source adds.

Well, they would make a nice couple – even though i think it's a far cry to imagine things would go that far that fast. But they seem to be well on the way of becoming very good friends, at least, and that's a difficult thing to do in Hollywood. I mean, Jennifer will always be known as Brad Pitt's ex who can't get a life, while Owen too will be marked by the echoes of his failed attempt to take his own life. Maybe they can really help each other out – who knows?
