It’s been many years since Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston broke up and he chose to move on with his “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” co-star, Angelina Jolie. Aniston too says that she’s long recovered from the failed marriage and has learned her lesson in relationships, but that’s not the story tabloids are saying. Jennifer is still pining for Pitt and can hardly control her emotions when she’s put in a situation that reminds her of her life with her former husband, PageSix says.

As a matter of fact, Aniston had one such emotional outburst just recently, as she was shooting for “The Bounty” with Gerard Butler, whom she reportedly dated for the entire duration. The former “Friends” star was coming out of her trailer to do a scene with her co-star, but was hardly able to hold back her tears because it reminded her of her and Brad. Consequently, Jennifer asked for a break of a few moments and went to her trailer to cry her heart out, the publication says.

“Jennifer Aniston burst into tears in her trailer while filming in New York – telling an assistant that a scene ‘reminded her of Brad Pitt,’ a source said. The unlucky-in-love actress was late coming out of her trailer while filming ‘The Bounty’ with Gerard Butler a few weeks ago. The source tells PageSix that when an assistant went to fetch Aniston, she was in tears, and said, ‘I need a moment. This scene reminds me of Brad and me.’” PageSix writes.

Even though Aniston has certainly not lacked suitors over the years – being romantically linked in the media to gorgeous men like Butler, Paul Sculfor and John Mayer –, it seems her heart still belongs to Pitt. Similarly, hanging out with her co-star, Butler, was fun, the spy further says, but it did not help with chasing the blues away. Deep down inside, Jennifer will probably always love Brad and, because of this, she will never stop feeling sorry for breaking up.

“Aniston pulled herself together and managed to put on a smile when she eventually emerged from her trailer. The insider added, ‘While she enjoyed flirting with Gerard on set and put a brave face on every day, privately she is still very fragile.’” PageSix further writes. Aniston’s representative has also been contacted for comment, and has strongly denied the tearful breakdown ever took place.
