14 DAY TRIAL // Jennifer Aniston rarely talks about her personal life, but oh boy, when she does, she manages to come up with the funniest, most ridiculous things. Sweet, yes, but funny nonetheless.
The other night, the former “Friends” star and her fiancé attended an event hosted by Details magazine, celebrating Theroux’s spread in the latest print issue, the one in which he’s actually promoting his new HBO series “The Leftovers.”
The photospread is gorgeous, but then again, Justin is a handsome man – but it’s nothing out of the ordinary for him. He’s still rocking his fiercest biker chic fashion and showing off his muscles, while striking pensive, brooding poses.
According to Jennifer, the beauty of the spread lies in the way the photographer captured Justin’s eyeballs. He is also very courageous for doing it, though she doesn’t explain how she came to this conclusion.
“I commend him for his courage,” Aniston told WWD at the event. “This is not normal for him. He’s so graceful and utterly kind and golden.”
“It is amazing,” Jennifer says of the Details spread. “He’s just so beautiful and handsome to me, and I love that his eyeballs are so beautifully captured because those eyes just knock me out every day. He just gets better every year. He’s just like a lost gem in the sand, and he’s just always been there and been brilliant, and now this is just in a different light.”
Jennifer Aniston speaks like a woman truly in love, a woman who’s not yet out of the puppy love stage where the other person could possibly do no wrong and whatever they touch instantly turns into glitter and butterflies and all the cute things you could think of. That’s fine.
But it should not stop us from giggling at that comment on the beauty of Justin’s eyeballs or the fact that he’s so “courageous” for posing with his top off, if that’s really what Jennifer is talking about.
As noted above, Aniston doesn’t talk about the men in her life that often, mostly because she’s too busy denying pregnancy rumors. It’s unlikely that she was just joking with WWD and feeding them ridiculous quotes on purpose because, after all, WWD is an established fashion publication and there’s little else Jen takes as seriously as fashion.
The most likely explanation, according to celebrity pundits and random celebrity gossip lovers leaving comments on dedicated forums, is that Jennifer was a bit drunk. A woman with her reputation (of always fiercely guarding her personal life) saying such silly things doesn’t happen than often: only alcohol could have made her open up like this.
