New report says Jennifer Aniston forced Brad Pitt to apologize for marriage comments

A few days ago, Brad Pitt committed a PR faux pas when, while promoting a new film, he dissed on his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston, saying his marriage to her was “dull.” She immediately reached out to him and forced him to eat his words, says a new report.

The media frenzy started when Pitt sat down with Parade magazine to promote “Moneyball” and got to talking about his life pre-Angelina Jolie.

He said he “wasn’t living an interesting life” and that he was “trying to pretend my marriage was something that it wasn’t,” which was taken to mean that Aniston made him dull.

The moment Jennifer, who was married to Brad for 5 years before he filed for divorce to be with Angelina, found out about the things he said, she flew into a temper, Us Weekly writes in its latest issue.

Consequently, she had her people contact Brad’s people and instantly demand an apology.

“They got his team involved and Brad was read the riot act — the only way you can read the riot act to Brad Pitt,” an unnamed source tells the celebrity magazine.

It paid off, since the very next day, Brad issued another statement saying that his words had been taken out of context and that he never meant to say that Jennifer had been a dull wife, but that he had become a dull man.

Of her, she had nothing but nice words to say, describing her as “an incredibly giving, loving and hilarious woman,” who made his life pure bliss for the time they were married.

“No one believes his words were taken out of context – he said what he said. I do hear that he’s remorseful,” another source adds, not convinced by Brad’s second statement.

“We think he’s jealous she’s in love,” says the insider, referring to her current relationship to Justin Theroux.
