14 DAY TRIAL // In recent interviews, Jennifer Aniston has been saying she's never been happier in her life. She's been dating Justin Theroux for almost a year, according to reports but, they say, the relationship cost her dearly.
Ever since she started going out with Theroux, Aniston completely forgot about her good friend Courteney Cox, from whom she was practically inseparable at one point, the Daily Mail says, citing reports in the British tabloids.
Indeed, celebrity bloggers agree, it's been quite some time that the two have been seen together in public.
Most notably, Cox was absent from the ceremony in which Jennifer got her very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and that alone speaks volumes of how their friendship has cooled off.
“Cox was noticeably absent when Aniston’s star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame was unveiled two weeks ago, a major career landmark for any actress. Sources close to the pair said they have been spending increasing amounts of time apart since Aniston fell for her Wanderlust co-star,” the Mail writes.
“Aniston, 43, and Theroux, 40, have been inseparable since they started dating last May and are now living together. Cougar Town star Cox was apparently upset last month when Aniston cancelled a girls’ night out at the last minute to spend the evening with Theroux,” adds the same publication.
An insider says that, now that she's with someone she loves and who loves her back, Aniston's priorities have changed, so she no longer finds the time to spend with her girlfriends, even if they are Cox, the woman who's been by her side through thick and thin.
“Jennifer’s priorities have obviously changed since meeting Justin,” says the spy.
“But Courteney must feel that Jen has completely forgotten what it’s like to be the single girl and that will hurt given how supportive she and David were to Jen over the years,” the tipster adds.
To make matters even worse, the so-called “breakup” occurred just when Courteney needed Jennifer the most, as she was dealing with the realization that her 11-year marriage to David Arquette was dead and buried, and she had to get back into the (dating) saddle, the tab suggests.
