To promote the upcoming Lifetime’s project “Five,” which aims to raise awareness on breast cancer, Jennifer Aniston, Demi Moore and Alicia Keys are featured in the latest issue of Glamour magazine in what must be the lengthiest interview of the kind.

In it, the three stars talk about the things that are closest to their heart, why “Five” is so important for them and, last but not least, how coping with fame has changed their life.

Aniston, for instance, goes to great lengths to prove that celebrities are no different from regular people: they still do the same boring things on a daily basis and their lives are rarely as interesting as they’re painted in the press.

Of course, given that Jen has been a fixture in the tabloids (against her will) since her split from Brad Pitt, she’s definitely speaking from experience.

“There’s not enough space in this article [to set the record straight]. Not even enough pages in this magazine!” she says.

“The truth is, most celebrities are doing the same things most other people are doing every day… work, have dinner, hang out with your friends when you can, try and keep up with the crazy world we’re living in and squeeze in some zzz’s,” Aniston adds.

“There’s not nearly as much stealing and obsessing and middle-of-the-night secret calls to ex-boyfriends and scheming and cheating [as they lead you to believe]. Most of it’s just bull[expletive], however entertaining,” she concludes.

Moore, on the other hand, says she went to Twitter to try and change the image the media was painting of her – which was entirely false, of course.

She’s an “intensely private” person and she’s always resented how intrusive paparazzi can be, so Twitter proved to be just the thing for her in terms of helping her reach out and interact with people, who can thus get to know her as she is.

New mom Alicia Keys, on the other hand, tiptoes around the topic of fame to gush about her family: she explains why she named her son Egypt, when she realized she was in love with producer Swizz Beatz and what she’s most thankful for.

Here is more from the full interview.
