Jennifer Aniston has finally confirmed her engagement to Justin Theroux, months after word first got out online. Check out the video below to hear it straight from her, in an interview with Chelsea Handler on Chelsea Lately.

The discussion starts with a question about that Smart Water ad that Jennifer starred in and that saw her pregnant with triplets and hiding two other children at home from the media.

Aniston jokes with Chelsea, who is also a good friend of hers, that, as sad as it might make her to hear, none of that was true.

It’s true though that she’s engaged to Justin Theroux, she admits and then instantly tears up.

“I just got verklempt,” Jennifer says, struggling to fight back tears.

“He's the greatest guy ever,” Handler says, rushing in to save her friend from a predicament, because she’s clearly at a loss for words.

“You guys make the greatest couple ever,” the comedienne adds, at which Jennifer just smiles and nods.

Of course, fans will know that what makes this confirmation all that special is the fact that Aniston hardly talks about her personal life in such detail, especially after her much mediated divorce from Brad Pitt and the Angelina Jolie love triangle that continues to fascinate to this day, years after it happened.

It’s not long that the first photo of her engagement ring became available online, after paparazzi caught her off guard as she was running errands.

Justin proposed to her in August, with a ring that experts evaluate at $1 million (€771,545). It’s a 10-carat “Cushion Cut or Oval Shape diamond, mounted in a classic Halo design” in yellow gold, as we also reported a short while ago.

Aniston was the first guest on Chelsea’s show in its new format. Christina Aguilera, Miley Cyrus and Fergie will also be dropping by this week.
