Ever since he shot to fame, handsome actor Gerard Butler has seemingly not been able to shake off the “womanizer” tag the media stuck on him. No matter how hard he tries to talk his way out of this one, it seems his charm is simply too irresistible for him not to be a player. His recent conquest, for instance, is reportedly Jennifer Aniston, the print issue of In Touch Magazine claims.

As is customary with this type of stories, there is absolutely no confirmation of the affair between the two actors. There is, though, an unnamed source – reportedly a close friend of Jennifer – who claims that she knows for certain that the two have been getting closer in recent weeks, and that the beginning of a beautiful love story can already be seen.

Jennifer and Gerard have been meeting secretly in a New York apartment, the source says. They first met and liked each other at the Toronto International Film Festival last September; unfortunately, despite the fact that there was clearly something between them, they did not pursue it because Jennifer was with John Mayer back then. They made up for lost time during their recent meetings, though, the spy claims

“She said that in their film meetings, their chemistry was intense and physical.” reveals the friend. Gerard feels the same about Jennifer, it is further being said, but that does not mean that the former “Friends” star should not tread with caution, especially given Butler’s reputation as a genuine womanizer. “He’s very excited to see her again and wants to hook up with her again and hang out. [But] he’s a total player.” the same spy adds.

Apparently, Aniston is so smitten with the blue-eyed “300” star that she has already thrown all caution to the wind. In fact, another source says, she would even be willing to move to Scotland altogether, should Butler ever ask her to do so. “The friend says that Jen can’t wait to get back to Los Angeles – and Gerard. [Aniston is currently on location shooting 'The Baster.'] According to a confidante, Jen is envisioning a future together in Gerard’s native Scotland: ‘She has a thing about wanting to move there and get a little place in the countryside.’ But many worry that, as far as her emotions go, Jen may be traveling too far, too fast. If she doesn’t slow down, she’ll have another broken heart yet again – instead of finding the love she wants so badly.” the aforementioned tab concludes by saying.
