According to author John Gray, Jennifer Aniston's marriage with actor Brad Pitt was doomed even from the beginning, because of their celebrity status.
Gray, 53, declared he wasn't surprised when he found out that Jennifer filled the divorce paper earlier this year, after only four and a half years of marriage.
John, who is a relationship expert, believes the marriage had very little chance of lasting, Aniston being the sexiest woman and Brad the sexiest man in Hollywood.
Gray says: "Aniston and Pitt had very little chance of lasting. They started out like the prom king and queen. He was the sexiest man and she the sexiest woman. That kind of pressure makes it hard to make a relationship last."
The author also claims that he doesn't think the relationship that Brad and Angelina Jolie have will last either, because Pitt didn't took the time to heal his wounds and to reconsider his lifestyle.
He explains: "They're always under the microscope. And he went from one relationship to another so fast that there was little chance to be alone and find his happiness again."
John Gray is a self-described expert in the field of relationships and personal growth, best known as the author of several "pop psychology" books offering relationship advice.
The most prominent of these is the 1992 book "Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus", that has sold more than 6 million copies in the United States and was translated in 40 languages around the world.
