Rep rubbishes magazine report that Jennifer Aniston is adopting a child from Mexico

Star magazine has another adoption story cover for this week’s issue. This time, with Jennifer Aniston, who has reportedly decided she wanted to adopt a baby from Mexico.

From what one can make from the cover photo, which is the only thing from the issue available online right now, it would seem that Aniston is thisclose to getting her baby.

“Yes, I’m adopting!” reads a huge caption on the cover, right under a photo of a smiling Aniston. It’s almost as if Star has confirmation from the actress herself that she’s decided to start her own family.

“A baby from Mexico,” headlines read. “Adoption papers signed and sealed. Orphanage official talks to Star. She’s using Courteney [Cox]’s nanny,” Star writes.

“Plus, inside her new family home in NYC,” another caption promises. Again, all this would be more than enough to get readers to believe that Aniston is weeks away from bringing home her own adopted baby.

The only problem is, her rep says for People, that it’s not going to happen. In a statement for the magazine, a publicist denies all the allegations made by Star, which definitely puts the tabloids in a tight spot, since the print issue is not even out yet.

“It is completely false. Jennifer is not adopting a baby from Mexico, nor does she have a nursery in her home and she has not hired a nanny. It is all a work of fiction,” Aniston’s publicist states for People magazine.

Star has yet to respond to this, if they ever will. Either way, as People also points out, that she’s not adopting right now doesn’t mean she doesn’t see herself with children in the future.

“I feel like that’s in my future and I’m on the verge of it in some way, or it’s something I long for,” Jennifer Aniston said in an interview going back to 2008.
