14 DAY TRIAL // Derek Medina, the man killing his wife and posting a photo of her lifeless body on Facebook, had ambitions of being a neighborhood watchman.
As I wrote before, he fatally shot his 26-year-old wife, Jennifer Alfonso. She is featured above in the still uploaded to Facebook after her death.
According to the Mirror, his Miami neighbors describe him as trying to cast himself as a hero in the community and taking with him a concealed weapon at all times.
"He walks around with a concealed gun, so he tries to be the neighborhood watch guy. [...] He's always there late (at) night, and he's weird to me. He's always kind of looking around and trying to be a hero," Yoshi Dade recalls.
Medina is currently in police custody after turning himself in.
