A new clip from Jennie Garth's new CMT reality show, “Jennie Garth: A Little Bit Country,” shows the former “Beverly Hills 90210” star breaking down in tears when talking about her failed marriage to “Twilight” actor Peter Facinelli.

Earlier this year, the two came out with a statement announcing their intention of getting a divorce after 11 years as husband and wife.

They even took the time to shut down reports of infidelity on his part, saying just that the romance had run its course.

In the new clip (which you can see over at People), Jennie makes it clear that only Peter felt that way, because he was the one that fell out of love with her and she was the one whose heart was broken.

Sitting with two friends and a therapist for a session of heart-to-heart talks, the actress reveals the kind of heartbreak she's been dealing with ever since the announcement, as well as the feeling of failure and rejection she's been struggling to overcome.

“I think when you get married you hope it’s forever and you hope you’re going to grow old together and it really threw me for a loop,” Garth says, wiping away her tears.

Jennie identifies two very sad moments that defined her adult life and breaking up with Peter is one of them, next to the death of her father.

The former, though, brought along a feeling of rejection she's obviously still struggling with.

“I think with any sort of rejection, you’re angry that you weren’t enough for that person. So I don’t know if I’m angry at myself for not being enough or angry at him for not considering me to be enough,” she explains, choking.

There is a silver lining to this, though, a lesson she chooses to learn from such a painful experience.

“It's weird and sad, but I really realized through this whole experience how much I loved him, how deeply I loved him and how deeply I loved us,” Jennie adds.
