Now that Porn Queen Jenna Jameson has finally come clean about having a weight problem, we can all let the healing begin! No, really, let the healing begin! Also, we can breathe easy because of the starlet's latest announcement, for now we know for sure that she is on the right way: acceptance is the first and hardest step to take.
For almost a fortnight now, Jenna Jameson has been at the center of all attention (even more than usual) and various stories about her circulated in the media. First, she was accused of having anorexia and setting a bad example for young girls everywhere (who were looking for an equally brilliant career in the porn industry, I presume). She fought back reports by saying that her weight loss was due to the stress of divorce (what, you think porn starlets have no feelings?) and to her hectic schedule.
Then, the tabloids wrote a story about her having underwent a vaginoplasty that went terribly wrong, leaving her in such a state that she was no longer willing to leave the house. Thank God, that wasn't true either since three days after the story surfaced she was seen at some fancy porn convention. Add to that the fact that she and her soon to be former husband Jay Grdina fought a bitter battle of words via their MySpace pages, in which each called the other one names you only get to hear in movies (after a certain hour) you can totally understand why she had lost so many pounds.
It was only this week that Jenna finally admitted that she was too skinny: not that anybody asked her to do it publicly, I suppose people would have been happy if only she stopped denying it. While at a Sidekick mobile launch (where she posed for the photographers and got to take home a lot of freebies), Jenna also took the time to talk to reporters and to tell them that she is skinny. Earth shaking, I know!
'I got pretty skinny for a little bit. My lightest was about 92 pounds. I ate today!' she was caught saying on camera by the paparazzi. As if to make her point even better than that, after she got into the car with her new man, pro wrestler Tito Ortiz, a friend handed her a corndog and she was heard saying: 'I love hot dogs on a stick! So f**king sexy!', right before putting it in her mouth, you know, the way she also does with other objects.
Given that Jenna is 5 foot 7 inches tall, 92 pounds makes her really skinny. And I bet my last ten bucks that her massive breasts account for at least half that weight. Other than that, I'm really happy that she's feeling better because a serious depression was beginning to take over me at the thought that she might not be well.
