She’s back: after too long an absence (just ask her fans), Jennifer Lopez is back to being the same fabulous, party-loving diva the world has come to love – all thanks to her newly released video for “On the Floor,” which you can also see at the end of the article.

The singer debuted the video during the latest edition of American Idol and, judging by what online reviews are saying, it’s the last piece of confirmation needed that she was truly back to the game.

As fans must know, JLo’s album “Love” was pushed back many times for various reasons. This time, though, things are finally on the right path.

MTV News notes that “On the Floor,” a collaboration with Pitbull with clear Lambada touches, is the first single from Lopez to break into the Billboard Top 10 upon release since 2003, when she released “All I Have.”

With such a great song, it was only to be expected to have a jaw-dropping video – and this is exactly what this is.

The vid opens with Lopez arriving at a club (in Las Vegas, we’re to understand) incognito in regular clothes and a hoodie on. Not to worry, though, because she has a key to the party in the shape of a Swarovski earring.

Once she’s in, there’s a lot to take in in terms of visuals. Rich colors, among which all shades of gold predominate, evoke the VIP way of life, a world to which the viewer only has access by means of the video.

As expected, Jennifer goes through a lot of costume changes, including one that shows that, for a mother of twins who’s past 40 (she’s 41), she still has abs that could make a 20something feel envy.

One thing that Entertainment Weekly also picks up on is that there’s also a lot of product placement, almost as much as there was in Britney Spears’ “Hold It Against Me.”

“This thing is basically a commercial! I noted product placement for BMW, Swarovski, and Crown Royal. Not to mention the unintentional placement of fake eyelashes and wigs, weaves, and other hair-extending products!” EW writes.

Other than that, the video is pretty much mind-blowing. Check it out below to see for yourself.
