Reality star Jenelle Evans is back behind bars, shortly after she promised she’d turned her life around and was sober and clean. She is being held on drug possession charges (heroin) and assault, TMZ has learned.

For the past several weeks, Evans has been constantly in the headlines for problems with her husband Courtland Rogers, which both have talked about extensively on their respective Twitter pages.

He’s also been saying that she’s back to using heavy drugs and prescription pills even though she’s pregnant with her second child.

As it turns out, he wasn’t lying about it. Jenelle was arrested for possession of heroin and assault, after she hit Rogers with a piece of furniture in a domestic dispute, the celebrity publication reports.

Cops found 12 bindles of heroin on her person at the time of arrest. They also served her a warrant for failure to pay child support: her son is in her mother’s custody, for those who have not been keeping up with her troubled life, documented on the MTV show “Teen Mom.”

“According to the docs, Evans was also found to be illegally in possession of Percocet (a prescription painkiller)... as well as plastic wrapping paper and a glass smoking pipe, which is considered illegal drug paraphernalia,” TMZ reports.

Rogers was taken into custody as well – also on drug and assault charges.

“Cops say he assaulted Jenelle by ‘hitting her on the neck and striking her with a closed fist on her head.’ Cops say Rogers was also in possession of heroin with intent to manufacture, sell, distribute and drug paraphernalia,” TMZ writes.

At the time of the arrest, both denied they were in possession of heroin.

Considering Evans’ long rap sheet, this new arrest could mean that she’s going back to jail for a long time. In March this year, she was admitted to rehab by her mother but she just walked out, telling friends that she “didn’t need it.”
