This isn't the first time jellyfish interfere with a nuclear plant's working agenda

This past Sunday, a swarm of moon jellyfish managed to do something environmentalists have been trying to do for ages: force a nuclear power plant to shut down. The facility in question is the Oskarshamn nuclear plant in Sweden.

Apparently, the vicious creatures relied on a very cunning plan to make sure they got their way. Thus, Mirror tells us that they swam into the pipes carrying cool water to the power plant's turbines.

Once enough of them worked their way into this confined space, the pipes were blocked. When faced with the situation, plant workers were left with no choice expect switch off reactor No. 3.

Since this hostile takeover on Sunday, workers have managed to clear the plant's pipes, and are now getting ready to get the facility back online.

Interestingly enough, it appears that this isn't the first time when jellyfish interfere with a nuclear plant's working agenda. Thus, several other similar incidents were reported in the past, both at this facility and at others.
