Samsung Galaxy S III owners in Australia rejoice as another Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update is now rolled out to all unbranded devices in the country.
It will probably take a few weeks until the update is pushed to all Galaxy S III units in Australia, but Ausdroid reports that it is now available for download via Samsung Kies desktop software.
Keep in mind that this is a small update that is said to fix the Sudden Death bricking issue that affects Samsung Galaxy S III devices.
Moreover, the maintenance update includes a fix for the Exynos ROOT exploit that was uncovered a few weeks ago.
We expect Samsung to push this important update to carrier-branded Galaxy S III devices as well in the following weeks. Stay tuned for more info on this one.
