This week, South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung started to roll out the Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean software update available for its Galaxy S III devices in Europe, and some more countries are receiving it today.

Initially said to have arrived in Poland, the update was pushed to Galaxy S III units in France, Spain, Romania and Austria as well, and is now arriving on handsets in Ireland, Italy, UK and Switzerland too, sammobile unveils.

The update is delivered as build I9300XXDLJ1, and users in all of the aforementioned countries should receive a notification on its availability when it arrives.

Users can also perform manual checks on their smartphones to see whether the update was delivered to them as well, or can connect the handset to a Windows PC, fire up the Samsung Kies application and let it search for available updates.
