Owners of a Galaxy S III smartphone in Canada interested in loading the new Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system on their devices should be able to do so now, courtesy of a leaked build that is making the rounds on the web.

First spotted as the Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean update for Bell’s Galaxy S III smartphone, the leaked build is said to be working just fine on other Canadian iterations of the handset, MobileSyrup suggests. On Bell’s devices, the LH1 firmware is required for installation.

The leak sports build number I747MVLALI2c and is currently being used for the development of custom ROMs for the flagship smartphone.

Those who would like to keep an eye on the progress of these custom Jelly Bean ROMs for Galaxy S III i747M should head over to this thread on the XDA-Developers forum.
