Jealousy and Drama on ‘New Moon’ Set over Robert Pattinson

Tabloids are often bending the truth when writing some of the stories they run, it has often been said, and to some extent, this could be true. Be that as it may, Life&Style claims to have it from very reliable sources that Robert Pattinson’s hotness and flirty ways are causing damage on the set of “New Moon,” with at least two co-stars fighting over who gets the most attention from him.

Apparently, Pattinson and Nikki Reed have been in an on-and-off relationship ever since they started work on “Twilight,” the first film in the successful franchise. Although Robert is not willing or ready yet to commit to a more serious thing, he continues to flirt with all the girls, even when Nikki is also present, the mag says. This has inevitably led to some tension on set, with Reed, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson being the latest love triangle causing waves in the media.

“Since Nikki’s return to the ‘New Moon’ set in Canada on April 8, Rob has been playing it cool with the actress as he continues to explore other romantic prospects – including Nikki’s onetime BFF, ‘Twilight’ leading lady Kristen Stewart, whom he’d like to spend more time with. Moreover, Life&Style also managed to speak to someone on set, who is reportedly well informed about what goes on when the cameras are off, and to get confirmation that things are actually on the verge of exploding. Robert, it seems, is ok with the Reed affair, but sees no future for it. She, on the other hand, is hoping that he will end up falling in love with her, a task she aims to accomplish by sleeping with him regularly, says the spy.

“Rob knows Nikki’s not the one for him, but he still goes back to her and leads her on. She thinks he’ll come around and they can be a legitimate couple, but Robert is determined to enjoy his new fame – and all that comes with it.” the insider reveals for the magazine. If all this sounds a bit too like in the soap-operas, before one judges, one might as well consider that Pattinson’s irresistible charm could actually do this kind of damage with women, as celebrity blogger Perez Hilton points out. Of course, this still does not mean that the rumors are actually true.
