Courtney Stodden, the 17-year-old who married 51-year-old actor Doug Hutchison when she was 16, is getting a lot of hate on Facebook. Several pages she set up have been shut down after she was reported – and it’s the fault of “jealous wives,” her mom believes.

Though Stodden has never been what one may refer to as “loved” by the public, it seems that things are getting worse, especially since she started talking to the press about her controversial marriage.

Moreover, she’s also started getting offers for photoshoots and, since she got some glam pics of herself, she thought she could upload them on her Facebook page.

To her surprise, it was shut down after it was reported by users. Her mother believes it was her admirers’ wives who did it because they were jealous their husbands were looking at her photos.

“It’s the jealousy from the women towards her. The men love her, the women hate her. The women report the photo because it’s so easy to do. You just click a button. They think she’s too [hot], they all report her together, and it’s done,” Courtney’s mother says for E! Online.

What’s even worse is that they report her when there’s nothing to report because Courtney hasn’t posted any inappropriate pictures of herself on her page on the social networking websites.

They’re no difference from the photos of countless other girls her age and women, says the mother, outraged.

“A lot of men and young girls love her page, but when the wives see their husbands on her page, they team up to get Courtney kicked off! When Facebook gets enough reports on one page, it locks her out,” she explains.

“It’s ridiculous! She’s dealt with bullying in Ocean Shores, Washington, she’s dealt with it in Hollywood, and now she’s dealing with it globally. All the comments from the guys are really good, but the women just call her [names],” she continues, concluding that her daughter must be too hot for Facebook.
