Speculations led people to believe that the tour was to be called "Mr. and Mrs. Carter”

It turns out that Jay Z and Beyonce are indeed planning a summer tour together and that the speculation surrounding it was at least half special. We say half because the rumors didn't also get the name of the tour right.

It was supposed to be called “Mr. and Mrs. Carter” tour, but, instead, Jay and Bey chose to revisit their whole “Bonnie & Clyde” image, and they're calling it “On the Run.” The poster features a black-and-white photo of the couple, in which they can be seen wearing ski masks.

The announcement was made on Beyonce's website and shows that the tour will begin on August 5 in San Francisco, California. Of course, members of Beyonce's fan clubs are going to have access to exclusive ticket pre-sale starting on Tuesday, at 10 a.m., and lasting until 10 pm the same day.

The pre-sale for the rest of the non-members will last until May 1 at 10 pm, and the general tickets are going to go on sale starting May 2.
