14 DAY TRIAL // The industry’s most powerful couple, singer Beyonce and music mogul / rapper Jay Z are having issues in their marriage. A new report suggests that things have gotten so bad between them that they’ve decided to take a “trial separation” to see where their relationship is heading.
The two megastars have been fiercely private about their relationship, from the moment it started to the day they got married and even plans on starting a family, which is rather uncommon with today’s stars.
It is precisely these plans for a baby that are now making the marriage collapse, a report in MediaTakeOut suggests.
Admittedly, sources very close to the couple can vouch that Jay and Bey can’t reach an agreement on whether they want to have children or not, so they’ve decided to take a breather from each other for a while.
“MediaTakeOut just received some blockbuster news... from a person close to Jay Z. Jay Z and Beyonce are taking what our snitch calls a ‘trial separation’. According to our snitch the couple has been at odds for the last year,” MTO writes.
The problem is that, while Jay wants babies and is pressing Beyonce to have one, she continues to put her career first and can’t see things his way.
“The biggest thing [they argue about] is about kids, [Jay Z] wants them and Beyonce doesn’t. It’s all about her career, and she doesn’t want to slow down,” the snitch says.
“Jigga is so animate about having kids, that MediaTakeOut learned he just entered a lease to a Los Angeles mansion – without his wife!!!” MTO further writes.
In other words, they’re on to the next step, that of living separately.
“For now [Jay Z’s] going to be staying in LA. Beyonce will be in NY... The hope is that with the time apart, the couple will decide to either have kids, or go their separate ways,” says the same spy.
MTO has a second source to confirm that things are off between the two: at the RocNation lunch over the weekend, Jay and Beyonce “didn’t even look each other in the eye.”
