Rapper Jay-Z was turned away when he wanted to enter in a London nightclub, because of his large entourage. Jay-Z was returning from Britain's GQ magazine award ceremony where he picked up the Man of the Year gong and came to the club to celebrate, accompanied by his management and a gaggle of girls.

The manager of the club told Jay-Z they cannot stay there, because they are too many. And it appears Jay, 35, worth £182.1 million, wasn't offended by the snub and promised he'd be back to party another time.

A source revealed to Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "Jay-Z turned up just before 2pm. He was keen to party and rushed down the stairs to look for a table followed by his management and a gaggle of girls.

"But he was told there was no way he and his party could be seated as the club was heaving. We were stunned. I thought he'd be able to get a table anywhere."

"He was charming and promised to come back again soon," the source added.
