14 DAY TRIAL // Apparently, people are still going on about the Jay Z and Beyonce upcoming divorce, which has yet to happen and which seems to be delayed day after day. The latest bit of gossip is that Jay Z is getting desperate that Beyonce will divorce him, following all the rumors about his infidelity, that he's turning to outside help.
Heat claims that the outside help is none other than Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow, who has recently split up from husband Chris Martin, the frontman for the rock band Coldplay. At the time, she made a big fuss with a pompous announcement on her website Goop, in which she claimed that she and Martin were “consciously uncoupling.”
The rapper seems to have liked the way Paltrow handled the experience, because he's now asking her for marriage advice and how to convince Beyonce not to get a divorce.
Says one insider: “Gwyneth knows what dealing with all the speculation in public is like after she broke up with Chris Martin, and feels she’s in a unique position to help with that he’s going through.”
We're not really sure how that is going to help Jay Z, since the tabloids and pretty much every publication in the world that deals with celebrities have already had a field day debating their divorce, their marriage, their infidelities, and speculated on the wildest theories about their future together.
Also, it's known that Gwyneth and Beyonce aren't seeing eye to eye anymore these days. The two used to be friends, but all of that stopped when Gwyneth used Beyonce's name on her Goop website in connection with a pair of boots the singer had donated for a private auction.
Rumor has it that the two haven't spoken since, which makes it kind of weird as to why Jay Z would choose a person who is no longer on speaking terms with his wife to council him. The way we see it, you would want a friend of your wife's to smooth things over and talk to her, to get back on her good side.
But Gwyneth is full of folksy wisdom. Back in 2011, she was quoted as saying that “sometimes it's hard being with someone for a long time. We go through periods that aren't all rosy.” That would apply perfectly in Jay Z's case, except he's trying to win Beyonce back and save his marriage, and Gwyneth is an expert in divorcing, it seems.
