Jay Leno Runs into Madonna in Super Bowl Ad

Madonna is riding the wave these days. Not only was she the Halftime performer at this year's Super Bowl, but she was also the piece de resistance in the new ad for Jay Leno's The Tonight Show.

The clip, which you can see in full above, sees Leno in an elevator, where he's joined by Madonna. They don't seem to know each other all that well or be too close friends.

After exchanging “Hi's,” Leno's phone starts to ring and, believe it or not, he has “Like a Virgin” set as a ringtone, much to Madonna's surprise as well.

While there's not much dialog in the ad and the clip is rather short, it does the job: it's funny and surprising and, most importantly, it sends the message that Leno is actually an “undercover” fun guy, the kind of man who dusts the house with Madonna's classic hits on blast in his headphones.
