Comedian Jay Leno, host of "Tonight Show", was impressed by Ludacris's performance in Crash and asked his stuff to track down rapper's phone number, to personally congratulate him.
The hip-hop star says, "There's only like five people in the world that have my house number. Jay Leno called me up and was just telling me about my performance in the movie Crash. I couldn't believe it.
"I mean, it's not that many people that I look up to, but anybody with more than 80 cars, if you call my house, I'm sitting there tripping. But at the same time I was like, 'Man, how the hell did you get my house number?'"
"Crash", starring Sandra Bullock, Don Cheadle, Matt Dillon and Ludacris, is a complex movie with a simple premise: set in Los Angeles, it follows 8 main characters (and many, many more supporting actors) from all walks of life and races whose lives intersect at some point during one 24 hour period.
These people are all different yet all alienated, to the point of breaking, so much so that when they come together, things explode.
