While a study conducted by NSS Labs showed that Internet Explorer 10 is currently the browser that provides the best privacy options on the market, an internal test performed by Microsoft brings the next version of its app in the spotlight.

Internet Explorer 11 is faster than all its rivals when it comes to JavaScript performance, the company proudly said in a statement.

According to Microsoft’s findings, IE11 for Windows 7 is faster than IE10, Chrome 28, Firefox 22, and Opera 15, with figures pretty much speaking for themselves.

On Windows 7, IE11 loads pages 4 percent faster than its predecessor and 30 percent faster than Chrome 28, the company explained.

“As we improve performance for real-world sites, IE11’s JavaScript performance on benchmarks like WebKit SunSpider continues to lead compared with latest version of other browsers,” Microsoft noted.
