Britney Spears and Jason Trawick have been an item for a very, very long time. He's credited as one of the two men behind her amazing comeback, the other being her father. A new report is now saying he's about to propose to her.While the pop princess has been spotted on and off with what looks like an engagement ring, as far as the world knows, Jason hasn't yet asked for her hand in marriage.

People magazine writes.
As Britney is preparing for her 30th birthday, one that she's excited to celebrate, as she said in a couple of recent interviews, Jason is thinking about popping the big question.
“Britney Spears is getting ready for her 30th birthday on Friday and will finish up a successful world tour next week – but that’s not all she’s gearing up for,” People writes.
“A source close to the singer tells People that an engagement is imminent for the pop star and longtime boyfriend Jason Trawick, 39, who sources say has picked out a ring,” the mag further says.
If he does ask for her hand in marriage, it should hardly come as a surprise to Britney, an unnamed but reliable source says for the celebrity magazine.
“They’ve been talking about marriage for a long time. It would be surprising if they are not engaged by the end of the year,” the spy is quoted as saying.
“Britney is really looking forward to turning 30. She is having one of the best times of her life,” the insider adds.
Fans must know that rumors about Britney tying the knot with Jason have been making the rounds for the past couple of years but, so far, they all proved to be just that: rumors.
Back in December last year, for instance, the pop star posed with Santa Claus and then shared the photo with her fans, many of who flipped when they saw she was wearing what looked like
an engagement ring.
The bauble turned out to be the same she'd been wearing for many months, probably a gift from Jason, but one that didn't come with a proposal.
Should the two tie the knot, it would be Britney's third time around the block.
