Jason Statham has a new movie coming out in March 2012 and fans should be happy to know it's just as packed with action scenes and adrenaline as any other he's ever made. The first trailer is out.

Called “Safe,” the film tells the story of a former cop Luke who doesn't like to play by the rules and who, as expected, isn't averse to busting knee-caps to establish order.

He crosses paths with Mei, a girl with an excellent visual memory. Mei knows a secret she shouldn't know and which puts her in mortal danger, since half the city's bad guys are after her.

Luckily, she has to Luke to protect her and keep her “Safe” no matter the risks he's exposing himself to.

Judging by the trailer, the film is typical Statham fare: there's lots of action scenes, smart talking and British humor, and countless tired clichés.

Hopefully, the final version of the film will prove we're wrong about that last part. It's out on March 2, 2012.
