For those of us that grew up watching "Beverly Hills 90210", Brandon Walsh was the ultimate good-guy. For Jason Priestley that may have been a good thing back then, but for his acting career it turned out to be not such a good thing in the long run. You've got to admit one thing. When you look at Jason Priestley, you immediately think of Brandon Walsh.
His acting career may not be where he wanted it to be, but he sure has succeeded on a personal level. After just two years of marriage, Jason's wife Naomi has given birth to a healthy baby girl.
Naomi is a makeup artist (don't think for a second of any similarity with Michael Jackson and his short- term wife, who was also a makeup artist). She and Jason met in London in 2001. About a year later, Jason - who is a die-hard race car fan - took part in a practice session on the Kentucky Speedway. Unfortunately for him, Jason smashed head-on into a wall at 180 miles per hour. He suffered severe injuries, including a fractured spine, but he considers himself exceptionally lucky to have escaped safe and sound.
His luck did not end there, as Naomi stood beside him through his lengthy recovery. Needless to say, the two married in 2005 on Paradise Island in the Bahamas, in front of 120 of their closest friends, including Jason's 90210 co-stars Jennie Garth, Tori Spelling, Ian Ziering and Tiffani Amber Thiessen. This is Jason's second marriage, as he broke up with his first wife, Ashlee Petersen, in 1999.
However, this time around it seems that everything is going for the best, as the former teen idol, now 37 years old, has become a father for the first time. The two happy parents have not yet picked a name for their newborn baby girl, but it is only a matter of time before the three Priestleys return to their Los Angeles home.
