14 DAY TRIAL // For some weeks now, rumors have been saying that Jared Leto and Lupita Nyong’o, two of the most hyped actors of the year, are having a torrid love affair. At the Independent Spirit Awards 2014 last night, Jared proved that he was up to speed with his celebrity gossip.
As expected, Jared won Best Supporting Actor for his role in “Dallas Buyers Club” and, up on stage to give his customary acceptance speech, he also cracked a joke about the so-called romance rumors.

“I want to thank all the women I’ve been with and all the women who think they’ve been with me. And also my future ex-wife, Lupita, I’m thinking about you!,” Jared said, as the cameras zoomed in on a giggling Lupita.
Speaking of, she too proved that she had heard of the rumors on a recent appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, when she joked that pop star Miley Cyrus had come in between her and Jared and she was, as such, quite heartbroken.
Jared is considered favorite to win Best Supporting Actor at the Oscars 2014 tonight, while odds are high Lupita will go home with Best Supporting Actress for her amazing performance in “12 Years a Slave.” I’d say it’s safe to expect even more romance rumors after tonight’s awards gala.
