Jared Leto is a great actor (musician, not so much) and I am not the only one who thinks so. But, when it comes to behaving in public, be it with his fans or with the paparazzi, the man could learn a thing or two in manners before going to fancy parties and red carpet events.

We all know that the paps can be more than annoying and intrusive but not all media representatives are alike, especially at such important events as Sundance Film Festival. For those who aren't in the know with this one, Sundance is the most important US film festival destined to projects that come from outside the major studios.

It includes screenings and awards for those films that garner little attention from the distributors (or none in some cases), often based on controversial subjects such as child rape and animal violence (like this year). All projects presented during the Sundance Film Festival are independent movies with relatively small budgets.

Jared Leto is there to promote his latest film, 'Chapter 27', in which he plays the part of David Chapman, John Lennon's killer. All the media attention he has been getting for this particular part must have gone straight to his head, given he has been nothing but trouble since he arrived at the festival. First, he was involved in a scuffle with a paparazzo who was really keen to take his picture and wouldn't understand that he wasn't in the mood for photos.

PageSix reports that Leto went for the photographer's throat but was held back by security guards, who prevented the exchange of words to turn into something physical. A couple of hours later, Jared was again in a foul mood. He was hanging with his band mates from 30 Seconds to Mars when he heard that pop star Justin Timberlake was also scheduled for an appearance at the same venue. Without listening to explanations and reason, the actor got up and bolted straight to the door.

'Jared flipped out. He literally freaked out and left the party', another source tells the media. If all this is true (a spokesperson for the actor was not immediately available for comment), that makes Leto the biggest ass in all Hollywood and it's quite a shame because he can do better than that. We know he can!
