Japanese “Jack Reacher” Trailer Offers More Details on the Plot

In just a matter of days, Tom Cruise will be back on the big screen with the kind of action movie only he can pull off, “Jack Reacher.” A new, international trailer for it is now out.

The trailer comes with Japanese voiceover but, as these things go, it probably doesn’t reveal more of the plot than the actual footage does and, God bless, it is not dubbed.

It seems like the new preview clip presents the story almost beat by beat, but trailers are often misleading like that.

“When a gunman takes five lives with six shots, all evidence points to the suspect in custody. On interrogation, the suspect offers up a single note: ‘Get Jack Reacher!’” a brief synopsis of the film reads.

“So begins an extraordinary chase for the truth, pitting Jack Reacher against an unexpected enemy, with a skill for violence and a secret to keep,” adds the same.

“Jack Reacher” will be out in theaters on December 21.
