The Nintendo 3DS isn't managing to attract Japanese gamers, as a recent survey says that many potential customers still think it's too pricey and that their regular DS models are still great, without causing any sort of health problems, like eye strain or migraines.
The
Nintendo 3DS has been released for quite some time now all around the world, but it hasn't really broken any sales records as of yet, coming
short of Nintendo's initial estimations.
Given the relatively low level of success, Japanese online research company Goo decided to poll 1,110 Japanese consumers, about reasons they're still putting off the purchase of a 3DS device.
According to the respondents, comprised of 39.5 percent men and 60.5 percent women, there are quite a few reasons for not buying a 3DS, ranging from lack of popularity with their inner friend circle to few launch titles or lack of color diversity.
The main reasons, however, were tied to the price, currently at $250, and about the potential side effects the glasses-free 3D technology will have on the eyes of the user or on his overall experience.
Check out the complete list of reasons, as highlighted by Kotaku, below.
