Rumors on the 32GB Nexus 7 tablet continue to pour as Google is still mum on the slate’s availability. After the device was recently spotted at various retailers, it appears that the new model is indeed real.

The folks over The Digital Reader report that a Japanese buyer has just received the 32GB Nexus 7 tablet, though he ordered the 16GB model.

It’s unclear how the retailer was able to make such a big mistake, but the fact still remains that the 32GB version of Google Nexus 7 is closer to launch than we might think.

Aside from the improved storage, we believe the device does not come with anything new in terms of hardware, even though one retailer was quoted as saying the 32GB Nexus 7 would be a “special model.” Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
