The 3DS handheld from Nintendo continues to be the best selling piece of hardware on the Japanese market, managing to deliver 27,884 units to gamers during the previous week, which is a good increase over the previous 26,311.

For the week that ended on June 29, Media Create, quoted by NeoGAF, shows that the PlayStation Vita from Sony has seen the biggest increase of the period, reaching 24,919 devices sold, coming from 13,381.

The last position on the forum is occupied once again by the Wii U home console from Nintendo, which has seen a slight decrease in its own numbers to reach 10,653.

The PlayStation 4 might be the only next-gen console on the Japanese market, but its sales are still under the 10,000 mark at 8,059, although they have improved over the previously tracked period.

When it comes to video games, the leader of the chart is Freedom Wars, from Sony Computer Entertainment, which has managed to deliver 188,888 copies to fans during its launch week.

The rest of the top ten includes: Watch Dogs for the PS4, Kamen Rider: Battride War II, Taiko no Tatsujin: Don to Katsu no Jikuu Daibouken, Girls & Panzer: Senshado, Kiwamemasu!, Watch Dogs for the PS3, Yo-kai Watch, Mario Kart 8, Pokemon Art Academy and World Soccer Winning Eleven 2014: Samurai Blue Challenge.
