The Nintendo-made 3DS continues to be the best-selling piece of hardware on the Japanese market for the week that ended on July 6, managing to deliver no less than 27,338 units to its fans, which is a very slight decline when compared to the previously tracked period.

According to data from Media Create, quoted by NeoGAF, the second place belongs once again to the PlayStation Vita handheld from Sony, which has managed to post sales of 20,665 for the seven-day period, a bigger decline when compared to the 24,919 units it has previously managed.

The last place on the podium belongs to the Wii U from Nintendo, which has once again dropped to slightly under the 10,000 mark after staying above it for a number of weeks.

The PlayStation 4 continues its less than impressive performance in Japan, with just 7,876 units sold in one week, which is just slightly above the 7,511 that the older PS3 managed.

The best-selling video game for the same period is Freedom Wars, developed by Sony for the Vita, which has delivered 43,160 copies to its fans.

The rest of the top ten includes: Yo-kai Watch, Taiko no Tatsujin: Don to Katsu no Jikuu Daibouken, Mario Kart 8, the PS4 version of Watch Dogs, the PS3 version of the same game, Kamen Rider: Battride War II, Pokemon Art Academy, World Soccer Winning Eleven 2014: Samurai Blue Challenge and Grand Theft Auto V.
