Monster Hunter 4 from Capcom continues to be the best-selling video game in Japan and the bump it has delivered to sales of the 3DS continues to increase overall sales of the handheld.

The Nintendo device managed to move 159,388 units to gamers during the week that ended on September 22, which is a serious decline when compared to the 276,792 of the previous seven-day period.

The PlayStation 3 is in second place, but continues its downward trend as the PS4 launch date is getting nearer and the Wii U has seen a modern increase in its own numbers to 5,824, according to NeoGAF.

The PlayStation Vita continues its decline and currently stands at 5,155 in sales.
