The Japanese hardware chart for the week that ended on February 10 is led once more by the Nintendo 3DS LL handheld, with overall sales of 89,050 units, an improvement over the previously tracked period.

The normal version of the same device is in second, followed by the PlayStation 3, according to Gematsu.

The rest of the chart includes the Wii U, the normal PSP, the Vita and the original Wii, still selling best than the Xbox 360.

Dragon Quest VII: Warriors of Eden is the bestselling video game in Japan, moving 872,922 copies during its first week on sale, with second place occupied by Animal Crossing: New Leaf and third going to Fantasy Life, with much smaller sale numbers.

New Super Mario Bros. 2 and Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, another 2 titles for the Nintendo 3DS, complete the top five.
