“Mad Men” actress January Jones is not and has never been what one may describe as “curvy,” though she does have more meat on her bones than many other female stars. She credits her metabolism for her enviable figure and swears that she never dieted in her life.

The actress, who is now expecting her first child, is in the cover girl for latest issue of Allure. In the accompanying interview, January talks about dating in Hollywood, her plans and, last but not least, pressure to always look perfect.

Apparently, she doesn’t feel any, even when most women in showbiz constantly lament they always have to look their best for the camera.

In fact, the gorgeous star reveals, she’s so comfortable with her body and confident that she never went on a diet, she always eats what she wants, when she wants it.

“I have never dieted. I just listen to whatever my body craves. I don’t deny myself anything,” the actress says.

Then again, she’s lucky she’s not built like most women and she rarely gets cravings – which makes the “not denying myself anything” part much easier for her.

“I don’t crave sweets or unhealthy things very often. But when I do, like if I’m in a bad mood and I’m in traffic, I’ll stop at McDonald’s and get a strawberry shake and fries and not feel guilty at all, because I deserve it,” she says.

Oddly enough, reports earlier this year suggested that January too had succumbed to pressure to being thin, going on the harsh juice diet to drop several dress sizes to fit into her costume for the upcoming “X-Men: First Class.”

In order to play Emma Frost in the highly anticipated film, a reboot for the “X-Men” franchise, January went on the juice diet for a short while – and managed to drop from a size 10 to a size 6, as we also informed you in March this year.
